Who Are We?

We’re the company that sells CUTCO® Cutlery. Our people are diverse and fun (85% of our sales force is college-aged) and they get geeked out by awesome kitchen knives.

True, many of the people we work with never once thought about kitchen knives before they met us. But, they catch on quickly.

What’s Vector?

Vector Marketing is a single-level direct sales company that sells CUTCO®.

Back in the day there were hundreds of small independent sellers of CUTCO®. In 1981, Vector was created as an independent seller. From 1981 to 1984 Vector sold way more than all the other independent sellers.

In 1985, CUTCO Corporation (back then it was called Alcas Corporation) bought the company from its owners to replicate Vector’s success across the nation.

Now, Vector is the exclusive seller of CUTCO® Cutlery.

Our home office is in Olean, New York, and we have over 250 year-round, independently run locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Plus, we have over 300 more temporary locations that open each year for our peak summer season.

CUTCO® Cutlery is a high-quality line of kitchen cutlery, kitchen accessories, and sporting knives. CUTCO® has been manufactured in Olean, New York since 1949.

(That’s right: we are proud to be the only high-quality cutlery line still made right here in the USA.)

Over 15 million homes in North America have CUTCO® in their kitchen. Why? Because the knives are freaking awesome… and guaranteed FOREVER. Our customers absolutely love them.

We sell over $200 million dollars of CUTCO® every single year.

What’s NFL Bluechip Division?

North Florida Bluechip Division (NFL) is a top division selling CUTCO® Cutlery in the Eastern Region.

Our division is about class & professionalism while working with open minded positive people. Beginning with only 1 office doing a million in 2005, currently our divisional sales exceed 6 million dollars with over 20 offices. We are a top notch organization that is rapidly expanding even in the recession.

Built now on a solid foundation, Bluechip is looking for leaders to excel their personal, physical, and professional lives to define growth. We enjoy working in an energetic, classy, and professional atmosphere which produces productive progressive people.

Pillar 1: Class and Professionalism

Class and Professionalism are traits that we aim to embody in Bluechip. We pride ourselves on being the most professional, and classiest organization around. Respect for each other and our competitors, to being prompt for events, as well as being the example for others to follow in the way we talk, are actions that define this pillar.

Pillar 2: Fundamentals Excellence

As in any business, sport, or even music fundamentals are the key to solid understanding and achievement. We pride ourselves on not making things over difficult but just being ourselves and focusing on mastering the basics of the position whether it be at the representative level or leadership positions this is key for long term success at any level and something we work together on consistently.

Pillar 3: Superior Sales Performance

Superior Sales Performance has been a staple in the NFL Division since it’s inception. We quickly went from the last division in the Eastern region in 2004 to #1 in the entire company on 2006 and 2007. The NFL Division has been the top organization on the East coast for 5 years and counting. This is due to the High Standards of performance we hold ourselves to. From winning trophies, to earning great income, by having this pillar be part of our foundation it has led to many great moments in our History. It’s great to be a part of a winning team and that isn’t something we take for granted as we continue to grow and develop ourselves.

Pillar 4: CANI

The most important of all of the Pillars is Pillar #4 CANI. CANI = Constant and Never-ending Improvement. A phrase created by famous personal growth guru and leadership coach Tony Robbins. We believe that this is the most fundamental concept towards creating the future we aspire towards. Whether it be professionally, personally, or financially this concept resonates within our organization. The attitude that if each and every day we just improved in one area just a little bit the end result in all areas will be astonishing. In our organization we are straight forward and honest about areas in which we can improve and focus on those things to get to where we want to be. In our Leadership and Management Training Program held every Fall and Spring we allow our representative to benefit from many books from different award winning authors and speakers to help them share perspectives from some of the best in the world. Below is a list of some of the growth oriented books our leadership class read/listened to as part of their curriculum in the Leadership and Management Training process.

Pillar 5: Work Hard, Play Hard Mentality

The Work Hard, Play Hard Mentality is very simple. It is the concept of being rewarded for your efforts, and that is something we love to take advantage of. From the plentiful contests, to the many trips our representatives have earned to the great income opportunity they get to experience this is something that our organization loves. Our slogan for our organization is "We do today what others won’t, so we can do tomorrow what others can’t." That concept is seen in the many first time experiences our representatives get to experience as a member of the NFL Division. From the first time going to a world renown steakhouse, to the first time on a yacht, to the first time seeing Niagara Falls or going out of the country, to the first time in Ireland, to the first time earning a $1-3k+ paycheck, to the first time on a plane, to the first time in a stretched Hummer, to the first time at an NFL Football game, this isn’t the typical type of opportunity that MOST people settle for. We love to be rewarded at a high level for giving a great effort. If you are a current member of our organization ask your manager what you can do to put yourself in position to experience some of these things ask the list I just went over was just from 2010 so there are many throughout the year to experience these things. All of these events are led by our Division Manager Matt King and the first step is to get on his radar as a top performer in the organization. You will have opportunities to meet him at different Divisional events.
